Soundwave arrived today, safe and sound. Massive box, too (as evidenced by the Unicron in the background) Despite all of the horror stories about TRU shipping them out poorly packed (which they did), I only ended up with a couple dings in the box, but I can live with those. Haven't gotten around to transforming anything....yet....but I did open it up to verify all the contents were inside and intact.

Awesome score! I AM hoping to pick my MP SOUNDWAVE in a local TRU store along with Generations Sandstorm.

Today was another good day, with this guy coming in the mail! Had him pre-ordered (and paid for) since March 9th, so I'm glad the excruciating wait for this bad boy has finally come to an end...

I think the Sandstorm is much improved from the original Springer mold. Great find there.

And, when that Hexatron bores you, I'll take it off your hands. For free of course ;)

I have been eyeing that Hexatron (Sixshot). I have the original G1 Sixshot. He will have to do for now. I am saving for some other preorders from BBTS. First up is the Generation Titan Metroplex. Preordered price: $109.99. Available in early August.

Anyone else going to purchase this figure?

I preordered it thru TFSource. I don't have any idea where I am going to fit it. :)

Passing on Metroplex. I only care for the robot mode and while I was initially in awe of his massive size, that eventually wore off and certain things like visible fists, head, exc.. in his alt. modes really started to bug me.

Great finds everyone!
I think I'm going to have to get some of those 3rd party TF's soon. I've been very tempted to get the not-Sixshot. :)

^^^ Oh he's awesome. Out of all the 3rd party Transformers I own he's probably the best. SO much engineering intuition went into that figure that it's just mind boggling. Lots of hidden features/gimmicks that boosts the fun factor through the roof, too. Him and Fans Toys Quakewave (Shockwave) are my top 2 toys this year. Both are Masterpiece scale and a must have for any Masterpiece collection, especially since the Decepticons are short-handed anyways as far as official Has/Tak MP's are concerned.

Nice Roadbuster. With time permitting will you take picks of Superion? With a scale reference?

Today I finished (I think - I'm pretty sure) my US Micromasters collection. I had 2 gun connectors for the tanker transport arrive this week. Not worth taking a picture on this tiny expensive gray piece of plastic.

Man oh man! Do I love this 30th Anniversary Masterpiece Soundwave. Is EVERYTHING I wanted in the original G1 release! And I love the Hegemon Meg's in gun mode. It's a real bear, at least for me and my son to get the gun butt part to transform properly!

He arrived!!! Hasbro Generations Metroplex! I have a comparison picture of him standing next to Grand Maximus. Metroplex is maybe an inch taller than Maximus. Guess he can hold he title of truly being the tallest transformer ever.

Also have a picture of Transformers Prime Ultra Magnus wih the hammer.

I'll try to get some pics up soon. I've got the Wings of Uranos on pre-order too, I'm really not too excited (yet) about the combiner aspect until that gets here.

EDIT: Bought this from Trance a week or so ago. I plan on doing the hip/kibble mod real soon and making this look more like the MP-11 mold. Starscream was a bit squeemish upon hearing that bit of news, but I'll let you guys know how the surgery goes with some updated pics.
