Nice collections: Menasor, Goldbug. Really like the mini jet collection Des! And Menasor really like to real gear collection! I've got all those real gears too! They are pretty cool! Just wish they had made the Mountain Dew Bot!

Great minijet collection Deszaras! That's a lot of missiles! LOL

OK, here is my collection as of now. The images are kinda large so I will post links to see them instead of cloggin' the forums.

Here is a collage of all of them:

And here are the shots of how they are displayed in my home:

No, I didn't make the cases. I wish I had the patience and the resolve to make them though.

However, I did make a shelf for the small case to display some smaller figures (at the moment the shelf isn't being used. I also made a structural support for the large case to keep one of the lower shelves from buckling. I got the supplies for those projects at home depot - a few sheets of acrylic and a blade/boxcutter.

I found two different places to buy various cases.

The smaller case I got at The Container Store. I am thinking I will buy one or two more in the next 2 months when my collection warrants the need.

I sketched the big one out on a pad of paper and recorded all the measurements I wanted to use. After having a rough drawing of what I wanted to achieve I found a store on evil-bay who had the talent, and then it was done! I did learn that I am putting more weight than they were intended for (my fault). I need to find a way to better support the middle shelf. Or, worse case senario to lighten the load on that shelf.

I also use clear display risers to make a stadium seating effect. I got those from evil-bay as well.

My gf and I am thinking about looking for a large glass case instead of these cases since they will hold more. But, I have to find some place that has what I am looking for. And, since I have spent money on these, we will use these for a while longer. We also agreed I would restrict my collection (for the moment  ) in one corner of the living room. I think the Autobots should perform a perimeter of the living room in case of Decepticon attack! 8) However, I was out voted...

___
EDIT:

No, I found the sign on evilbay. It goes for about $33. It's neat on the wall and is great to have lit in the dark!

Thanks Cliffjumper and Minerva! :)

This is only the beginning... I have plotting in my mind what I want to collect next in the TF universe. After I finish with the ones I want from the movie, I will probably go into G1. Or, maybe I will start with TF Animated.. Not sure...

Either way, there are a lot more TFs in my future!
