If she likes solving/playing puzzle games, try Professor Layton and everybody's favorite, Tetris,

! That's a sure-fire,

! If she enjoys point-and-click games, definitely try Hotel Dusk, like Kup said! And if she wants a little humor added to the mix, pick up Pheonix Wright, Ace Attorney! Start with the first one, and if she likes it, there's 2 more to get, plus a 3rd one that features a new main character ( not Phoenix Wright, of course,

)! I love point-and-click adventures, and Phoenix Wright definitely satisfies! I'm on the 2nd game now(Justice for All is the Subtitle, BTW,

).

Well, a new DS is being released, so u might wanna wait, although it'll probably take a while to drop anywhere outside of Japan! And they removed the GBA slot, but it has compatibility with the Wii and an SD slot, with a built-in camera!

I'm really disappointed in them for removing the GBA slot. I want to be able to play my old games too. >.<

The new DS is called the DSi (the i is short for eye they say). It has 2 cameras, one above the touch screen the second is on the outside top cover. it only has the SD slot, but it is stated it will play music files and there is the new SDi shop available via wifi, I am guessing this will be very similar to the Wii store.
