I have an old Zoid too. It's a giant white brontosaurus. Always thought he was kinda cool. I liked building him and taking him apart again :D

Here's an interesting "other collection" i have: Swords, knives, and bayonets.
Image
1. WWI Mauser M98 Bayonet (modified)
Dual tang. (Blade does is joined to grip, rather than one piece end to end)
Blade: Steel, w/Fuller (blood groove), 1 edge. Very sharp.
Grip/Pommel: Wood over steel, button release Bayonet mount
Guard: steel, Barrel ring has been cut off and filed down neatly.

2. Kris short sword.
Single Tang. (same piece of steel goes all the way through grip to pommel)
Blade: Stainless steel, Kris (wavy), 1 edge. Ragged edge, but sharp.
Grip/Pommel: Textured plastic grip, dragon head pommel, unknown material.
Guard: Dragon foot and wing, unknown material

3. "Stormcaller (Sturmaufrufer)", long sword.
Single Tang.
Blade: Stainless steel, double edge. edges were dulled for shipping legality.
Grip/Pommel: Bone with nylon bushings, brass pommel
Guard: Brass.
My personal favourite, a weapon of honor.

4: "Last Chance (Letzte Aussicht)", falchion.
Unknown tang.
Blade: Stainless steel (polished to mirror sheen), single edge. Razor sharp.
Grip/Pommel: Single piece, cast steel.
Guard: part of grip/pommel.
Two hands, two swords, right? This one is for the left hand.

5. WWI or II Czech Mauser 98 bayonet.
Single tang.
Blade: Stainless, with fuller, single edge, dull.
Grip/Pommel: Wood over steel, button release Bayonet mount
Guard: Steel. Top of guard is a ring to fit around the end of a Mauser 98 barrel.

6. Handmade Tempered dagger.
Dual tang.
Blade: Heat-tempered file steel. Dual edge. Razor sharp.
Grip/Pommel: Galvanized steel pipe wrapped in nylon line. Detachable ring pommel.
Guard: stainless, painted flat black.

Besides my TF collection I also collect Star Wars everything and I also have a very valuable baseball card collection. Star Wars wise I have well over 400 figures now and tons of other vehicles, lightsabers, comics, and books. As for my baseball cards I have been collecting those for about 20 years now. I would estimate that the value of the collection is around 150K, give or take a couple grand. A lot of the cards that I have were left to me by my grandfather. Mantle's RC and I have triples of that!!!! Too many cards to list!! I read through this thread and we definetly have a diverse group of individuals here.

Why don't you sell some to buy transformers? lol

#4 is not stolen from anywhere, unless you're holding it and it's not on my desk right now.
I polished Stormcaller, the brass actually looks brassy now. I'll post a pic later. Since it's shinier, it may now appear more attractive. As for the Kris blade, it was bought for me at a yard sale, I've seen them elsewhere. :P

If we were nonviolent then we wouldn't be whooping your collective butts into place every five minutes.
