*Lands near Octane's last transmitted location. Looks around and notices his signal leads into the cave nearby*

Slagging idiot. Why would he go in there without any lights?

*Turns on a lamp concealed in my waist and walks into the cave. Continues to walk when i see light ahead. I emerge into a large cavern. The first thing i notice is a broken comlink on the ground. I pick it up and identify it as Octanes. I look around and notice evidence in the gravel of an object being dragged deeper into the cave. Hearing a noise, i look up and find myself face to face with a group of guardian robots. Calming down, i take a closer look and realize they aren't functioning. Turning into the cavern the object was dragged into, i walk into it. This cavern is slightly smaller. I step farther in, when my light goes out, plunging me into darkness*

Oh, crap.

*Slaps light, trying to make it come back on. The only light now is the red glow of my optics. Suddenly an overhead light comes on, revealing smaller guardian robots on the other side of the cavern. The unconscious body of Octane was near the last one on the right side. I walked over to him and rolled him over. He groaned, and i noticed a small dent in the back of his helmet*

"You klutz. What were you thinking, going in here on your own?"

"Starscream...behind you." was all he said.

*Turns around quickly and ducks as a guardian appears out of nowhere and takes a swing at my head. The momentum of it's swing knocks the guardian down*

Where the heck did that thing come from?!

*turns on light, walks over to the fallen body of the smaller guardian*

"I don't know," I growl, taking out a energon sword concealed in my wing. I slice down and put the guardian out of commission.

"What i'm wondering is where all these guardians came from, how long have they been here, and how they escaped our detection."

*turns to Octane*

"I need to report to Megatron. He's heading to Earth right now. I'll tell him about the guardians. I'll need to go outside as there's no signal down here. Stay here and make sure no more of these things wake up."

*Pauses, and adds, walking over to Octane and placing his broken comlink into his hand*

"And PLEASE take better care of your comlinks. We wouldn't want to lose you, now would we?" *sarcastic*

"as for the guardians, you'd better make that transmission PDQ. If these things start coming around, I can't hold them off for long. Our whole army had trouble dealing with them millions of years ago; I doubt I'll be any greater opposition."

*reenters the cave*

"Okay, Octane. Megatron said that we need to reprogram these things as best we can to defend the area from the Autobots. How about you get started on that one, and i'll start on this one. It'll be faster, so we can get to Earth sooner."

*walks over to a guardian and opens its memory core and starts rearranging wires and chips*

"Ok, we are here, everyone out. Octane and Starscream are still around here somewhere, Rumble you and Dirge go and see if you can find them."

*Strides into the Iacon Comms room, opening a channel to Deszaras*

"Megatron speaks! Deszaras, how are the preparations going on Earth? All is well I trust?"

*Sees Sixshot overhead*

"Sixshot, come here I have need of your prowess."

As Sixshot is beckoned from his Commander from below, he notices the excessive activity of his Decepticon brethren, all of them scurring about, like wild bots with their heads cut off

Decepticon control of Cybertron was evident, but something was afoot, and Sixshot knew only one thing that would make his comrades' circuits sizzle

"Autobots", Sixshot muttered as he somersaulted into Robot Mode and landed before Commander Megatron.

Sixshot slightly bowed, with his left arm across his chestplate, saying, "What would you have me do, my liege?"

"Rumble, were are you going? Get back here!!!! NOW!!!! I have asked Sixshot to find them because as a trained tracker he will find them quicker, and don't think that I haven't noticed your lack of searching! However a good leader knows he must make the most of what he has. I want you to go into Iacon and see if you can find that traitorous Starscream and that oaf Octane."

*Rumble heads into the depths Iacon to find his comrades, grabbing an emergency torch from a storage locker as he leaves.*

Sixshot, humbly bows, but as he closes his optics, Sixshot winces at the thought of being assigned such a miniscule task. Sixshot was craving some action, not finding some stray bots that had just changed factions and conveniently turned up missing, shortly after. Sixshot then thought, "maybe they won't come back to Megatron quietly or willingly. Sixshot chuckled to himself and as Sixshot rose from his bow, he bellowed,

"As you wish, Commander." "Where were our .... latest additions, last seen?"

Sixshot stands stoic and attentive, awaiting Megatron's response

*starts working on the last guardian, wondering if Megatron and the others had returned to Cybertron yet*

*Rumble walks through the hallways of Iacon, looking for his two decepticon 'comrades'. As he is just about to turn a corner something odd catches his optics.*

"Wha.....?"

*He sees a cave in the side of the wall..... alittle odd for a planet made of metal. Shrugging his shoulders Rumble wanders inside, switching on his torch.*

"oh, NOT AGAIN!!! Still, I gotta try to find the way out of here."

*fumbles around in darkness*

*finishes on the last guardian just as the lights go out. I sigh in frustration and yell out into the darkness*

"That had BETTER have been you, Octane."

*Fires a shot into the darkness, it's purple haze lighting up the cavern long enough for me to find the entrance to the room*
