how can you determine whether or not a sticker sheet is a repro?

Good question. what you'd have to do is pick out any factory applied decals that are on the sheet you have. Reprolabels.com puts factory labels like G1 Prime's trailer stripes on the sheet as well, whereas the original would exclude such decals. Do you have any specific sheets? i can tell you which stickers would be factory.

these are what's in the mail, i figure they are repros because they were relatively cheap compared to some other "genuine" one's i've seen on ebay:

the site you provided shows a sheet for the cab and one for the trailer. are there more companies that reproduce these repros?

I just checked reprolabels website. they make separate sheets for cab and trailer, both different from this. This is an official hasbro product, but it is likely out of a reissue prime. The difference will be unnoticeable on the toy, so i'd say apply and enjoy!

Some reproduction label companies will use base sheets that are manufactured by another company like "Avery" or "3M". You can see thier company logos on the back.

I don't know if that helps......

Stickers made with those base sheets stick on toys well and retain their inking too.

All the Reprolabels I bought have "reprolabels" printed on the sticker side of the sheet. But those labels look good. If they're not original, I bought the same set. They are just a little thin/flimsy, but look great.

the repro stikers are made on a translucent plastic base, when viewed inches away, you'll notice that the colors excist from tiny dots,

originals are white back based and made from laminated paper ,the colors are consistant on these
