Ok for those of you in the U.S. Wal Mart is doing their reset as we speak. The 2nd wave of movie toys will be on the shelves this week including the Ultimate BB. I was at Super Wal Mart in Dixon, CA and they put all of the old stuff out to get rid of it so they could make room for the new line. Here is what I bought yesterday:
$460 later and I had helped Wal Mart make some room for the new stock. Just wanted to let the U.S. members here know that the next wave is here and we need to do our part to empty the shelves for the new stuff!!!!! Good luck and happy hunting!!
They are package in different boxes, the 06 is a brighter red and the 04 has some battle damage painting not on the 06, Thats what I can think of off the top of my head. I have both I will try to throw up a side by side pic shortly.
I also notice the gun is a different color between the two, the 06 has a glossy paint job compared to the flat looking 04, the 04 has shiny chrome parts and the 06 has dull ones. And of coarse the 06 has the stand with the electronic voice that sounds nothing like Prime.
Also, the axe on the 04 is more deeply colored... the chest doors seem to close better on the 04, and the minimegatron has a little higher quality paint, not to mention that the only interchangable part is the scope: the silencer and stocks have slightly different sized fittings so they will not exchange. Can you tell I've looked into this lately?
To make the big fingers thing worse, I'm typing in the dark. Have any of you seen the new movie robots? They are delux sized but don't TF from bot mode. I saw the Barricade and Meg tonight at Walmart. They look pretty cool but Megs looks like he's smiling
