Overpackaging rant

Post by Ramjet »

Is Hasblow really so concerned with toys falling out of the package that they need a million twist ties all over them? Sometimes it's harder to get them out of the package than to transform them!

I just got a titanium Optimus(not very happy, low quality if you ask me)and I had to use wire cutters just to get him out. They had the twist ties wrapped around his shoulder so tight that I ripped his arm off.

Then I bought an Alternators Optimus. Don't they know collectors want the box in good shape? The display bubble has so much glue holding it to the base, it tore all the print off. I WAS going to display it on the base/in the bubble, but now it looks like crap. Also, I can't transform it back to a truck 'cause his legs won't push back into themselves without 100 foot pounds of pressure, even though all the other joints seem a little loose.

Guess I'll stick to G1's, thank for letting me vent.

As for the titaniums, yes, they do indeed need all of those twist ties. Not to hold them in the box, but to simply hold them together.

The titaniums are by far the most easy to have fall apart in your hands TF's ever.

They fall into pieces easier than Gen 1 Omega Supreme!

By the way, are any regulars using a Shockwave avatar? I don't want to step on any toes.

There was a Shockwave around here before. Not sure what happened to him. Commander?

From what I understand 'ole Shocky has been pretty busy with his family. I see him pop in everyone once in a while though.

I still like your avatar though. :)

That is exactly it. The family keeps him on his toes. If you are worried about it change to another Decepticon and I will be delighted to change your name to.
