Did you transform that chest thing correctly? That roof should just slide back, I had one once.

yes make sure the chrome chest part is down in the right place and the car roof/back of head should slide back. then the head should swing around. That part of his transformation is the hardest to get everything lined up just right.

Well, that part is almost always broken, so my guess is it was super glued.

You beat me to it - I was just going to say it's probably been glued up by accident during repair.
Look for excess glue appearing near any of the edges.
Really hope it's not that, but if it is, I don't think there's much you can do.

Far over the Misty Mountains cold, To dungeons deep and caverns old. The pines were roaring on the height, The winds were moaning in the night, The fire was red, it flaming spread, The trees like torches blazed with light.

You don't have to. It's tricky, but with the the instructions you will be able to master it. You can see them for free in here:
http://www.botcollector.com/
Click on "guide", then in "name lookup" and then write "jazz" on the field.

BTW, I am creating a disc with G1, Classics, and some new movie characters. Each character will have instructions and Tech spec.

I'll just use botchs site. I can probably contribute some scans if you need them. (all I got/will have are: G1 motormaster, snaptrap (G1), deszaras (G1), megatron (japanese) and overlord.)

I dont know what you guys mean by roof slide. My jazz you just tilt the windshield down and his head pops up where it should be.

Kup you must dissect him, as Dinobot says the head should pop up when you slide the roof back. Be careful tho.

the friggin roof doesn't slide far enough, so the roof hits the doors when tilted
