Hey wheezel, check out the Lego Creator series, they're about as basic as the sets are these days. I saw some new ones at ToysRUs this week.
PM'd ya, Cliff.
Lego is my original toy obsession. I've got pieces going back as far as I can remember; even before the release of GI Joe or Transformers. I've got millions of pieces (literally!!
). The castle series is my favorite. Here's a couple of my 'crown jewels':

NINJA!

My heart is die-cast.
Star Wars legos...
I spent last, 2007, Christmas night building a bunch of those sets with my brother and his kids. They buy some older sets off Ebay. They are pretty price savy so I don't think it was too much. I built like three things myself. All four kids got at least one set. They are sweet and I have one, Anakin's Jedi Star fighter, but are more expensive then TFs. So I choose Tfs over Legos 99% of the time.

Won't be long before you start making custom models, CJ. If you do, check out MOCpages.com. It's a great place to post and share custom models.Cliffjumper wrote:OMG LEGO is freakin awesome so I went out and got some new Lego starwars and just finished building one of them sooooo heres to a new collection
I've done some custom Lego building myself (http://www.mocpages.com/folder.php/6456). I particularly enjoyed making the "Farscape" pieces.

I always wanted to make an OP out of Legos. Isn't there a place where you can order bricks of different colors?

RJ, eBay is usually a good source for pieces. Also check out www.bricklink.com.
I've seen some pretty impressive Lego Transformers. My favorite has to be Shellshock - he's done in the movie-style and transforms without removing any pieces. Pretty darn sweet. The guy that made it is a Lego genius.
