Hi all I am new to these forums. I have rediscovered my old transformers obsession. My Grandmother sold her house and moved into a home. My parents said you have a lot of old toys in the attic there. Low and behold gi joe, he man, mask, a lot of other 80's toys, and my beloved transformers. All were complete and in very good to excellent condition.
I sold a bunch of gi joes and made some decent cash. Now my wife wants me to sell everything else! I have decided the transformers are not going. This could be the start of an expensive new hobby I think.
Thanks all! My collection consists of nearly all of the G1 issues from 84-87ish. Minus some of the big bases. I have not been able to recover my beloved Jetfire yet. I have some of his armor plating so he must be around somewhere. I need to root through my parents basement to see if he is around.
Welcome aboard Brawn. You are lucky in that you saved your toys. I've had to start over from scratch with my transformers and ghostbusters. Glad to see another Autobot join the ranks!!
yeah i was lucky I held on to so much stuff. I was never real hard on my toys and they look great overall. i need to figure out how to display everything. i forgot how cool they are. it was fun getting all the accessories matched up. this website was very helpful for that.

don't worry ramjet. i held onto the best joes ie Snake-eyes version2, storm shadow, firefly, and a couple others. as much as i loved gi joe, transformers were always tops!
