I have just heard from a reliable source of mine that those people who make near perfect Ko's of G1 figures are soon going to release 'remake' {Read KO} G1 shockwaves and G1 superion giftsets.

So its another headache for those of you who like to buy MIB or MISB G1 figures, as you will soon have to watch out for these KO's.

EDIT: my source has provided me with this pic:-

The 'remake' shockwave has a differently coloured barrel part.

The 'remake' superion is near identical to the original in almost every way except that the gold parts that were painted on silverbolt seem to be gold chrome instead. {Which you cannot see when its in the box which is an exact duplicate of the original giftset box.}

So i need to get my superion together before the ko's come out. I would still buy both KO thou...they look sweet.

The parts of silverbolt were originally gold chrome. the only gold painted part i can think of are the superion head antennae, and those look a bit flatter in the pics too, like a fresh coat of paint.

frightening! also, what about losing the mold for mirage? c'mon h-bro.

Does it not look to anyone else like Shockwave's grey sections are quite different than the original's whose were more silver, kinda like Trypticon's accessories?

That being said, I'm gonna stock up on those G1 Shockwave barrels, I bet they'll be at a premium once these hit, lol!

Thanks for the info on thoses Des. Even though I already have a pretty good Shocky and an OK Superion it's always handy to know about these new KOs.

Don't suppose you know when, where, and for how much? Or have any speculation as to it?

I would probably go for the Shockwave one and just use the barrel form the Radioshack Exclusive one I bought from here to display with it.

Currently I've only got a KO Superion, and this one looks vastly... well superior to it, so depending on price I may go for it as well.

Superion will be about $80 USD

Shockwave will be about $85 USD

I would prob still buy the Shocky. He looks sweet. And, it seems so hard to find a good Shocky cheap (in good condition). Would probably be a mistake, but I would.

Both the shockwave and the superion giftset's are allready beeing sold here. So they should be easy to obtain.

But that price for a KO.......... hope they keep increasing prices so people stop buying these KO's....
