Favorite Transformers misnomers
OK, so have you ever been talking to someone who maybe doesn't know much about Transformers, may have played with them 20 or so years ago, or someone who thinks they know what they're talking about but is just plain wrong with regards to the name of certain Transformers? If so, list them here!
Here's a few I've encountered:
-Blitzwing as Blitzkrieg
-Metroplex as Fortress Maximus
and my own personal favorite
-Grimlock as Gimlick (not Grimlick, Gimlick...)

Not Transformers, but my all time favorite toy misnomer was from my days at KB Toys (late 90s). A Grandmother called with a list of Star Wars characters her grandson was looking for. She was reading the list to me and I was letting her know which, if any, we had. Until she got to the last one:
"How about Bob Felt?"
"Um, I've never heard of Bob Felt, are you sure that's the name?"
"Yes. My grandson made this list and he said Bob Felt is the one he wants the most"
We go back and forth for about a minute, me trying to assure her there's no Bob of any material in Star Wars and her not believing her brilliant grandson could possibl be mistaken.
Then my lightbulb lit.
"Wait, do you think it might be Boba Fett?"
"How about Bob Felt?"
"Um, I've never heard of Bob Felt, are you sure that's the name?"
"Yes. My grandson made this list and he said Bob Felt is the one he wants the most"

My heart is die-cast.

My wife always gets confused because I love football and transformers, and I talk about Megatron. Her confusion is that she doesn't know if I'm talking about Megs or Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson aka Megatron (because he is the size of Brandon Jacobs and runs a 4.3 40yd Dash).
