I just recently purchased a large toy collection. It has some G1 Transformers in it. Was the date stamp on the bottom always "Takara"? I don't remember from when I was a kid. Any help would be great.
Thanks. I asked because I have 2 Gears with different stamps, and none of them is a blank (which I am not aware it exists). However, the second picture looks like yours isn't a blank either. Check the front wheel well.
Thanks! I had many G1 Transformers when I was a kid. My mom gave them all away to my younger cousin when I was about 13. I wonder if he still has them Anyway, I now sell 80's toys just for fun and got a few Transformers in someones collection. Nothing big though.
That sounds similar to my story. I had given all of mine away when I was around 11 or so to a friend of mine that lived next door. He eventually looked me up on Facebook over 20 years later...highly doubtful he still has them, though. Anyways...welcome aboard and look forward to seeing you around.
Are you guys sure yours say 74-84? Because mine says 74-83 and Im just wondering if mine is different.
172 and counting. :)_
Newest addition to my collection: Generations Blitzwing
Looking for packaging for 20th Anni. Masterpiece Optimus Prime and his axe and Megatron gun. PM me if you have any of these at a reasonable price.
