Did the transformers have a Religion?

They had a God but did they actually have a religion or Religions? In the Comics its all thank Primus and Praise the Matrix, but did that in itself give evidence that there where 2 Religions? Followers of Primus and the others that where Followers of the Matrix? Could that explain that when a new Autobot Leader was chosen and given the name Prime and there was no change of appearance that they didn't believe in the matrix and/or Primus? If that is the case what, then did they believe, if anything?

primus created the matrix, to contain the wisdom of the ancients... perhaps it is his outward presentation of divinity, since he long wished to be hidden from the universe, and thus, unicron...

very good tt but did they have a religion or religions? Spike they must have had a faith of some sort if they had a god. sure its all thank primus this and praise the matrix that. Did they worship them both?

In a way yes. I know that primus created us all but that can't be it can it. Again did some worship Primus others the Matrix and maybe just maybe Unicron? I know that Unicron enthralled some of primus' 1st creations, they attacked Optimus during the edge of extinction all fall down storyline so why not more? Could he have enthralled, in a way, me and started the whole war in the 1st place. Even tho
I was looking to turn cybertron into a warworld?

you may have been the best, megatron, but you weren't the only gladiator, others followed you willingly; so there must have been some influence... perhaps of unicron, perhaps an inborn flaw like humans are said to have?

Metallikato is a martial art more than a religion, altho it could be a cult. There is only bludgeon in it and he based it on a decepticon myth about "the last autobot".
An excellent point TT, Grimlock, the fool starscream, sunstreaker and Quake to name but a few were all gladiators as well. Could this be why grimlock walks the fine line between good and evil? I mean he joined me in the dreamwave stories after the ark2 Tragedy. Then returned to Optimus Prime. Maybe a bit of influence there from unicron?

Yes I know he isn't. He was a repositry for some of Primus' power and when Primus died in the Unicron battle HiQ/Prime found him and he restored the planet to its former glory as well as the autobots. Bludgeon was under the impression that he was a super warrior and that is why he modelled his ways on him, not realising what he actually was.

In the beggining there was something called "The One" who created both Primus and Unicron. They were twin brothers but f course one was good and one was evil. They took forms as planets to explore the universe and Unicron started destroying planets taking resources. The 2 brothers battled all the time and primus created 13 Transformers to strengthen his defenses. one transformer turned and went with Unicron.
