Howdy! My BIIIIIG hello!

Post by daiatlas2000 »

Hello all. Really just discovered this website and thought I'd wander in to the forum. Years and years ago I used to be daiatlas2000 on the TFArchive. I've drifted in andout of collecting over the last few years mainly due to finances and am now trying to get back to collecting again (slowly lol).

You will see me popping up here and there. Feel free to say hi!
Nice to meet you all!

Welcome back to the collecting community! It's great to hear you're getting back into it, even if it's a slow return. It sounds like you have some history with *Transformers* collecting, and I’m sure there are others here who share your passion. Don't hesitate to jump in with questions or share your experiences — and feel free to say "hi" to others as well. Looking forward to seeing your posts!

I have been sorta lacking lately on the collecting front myself. Finances and space are a big factor, but I couldn't help myself when I saw SS86 Optimus Prime. Well worth it.

I try to check in once in a while when I have time.

Almost 10 years went by before anyone said "hi" to daiatlas2000? and who said "hi"? A newcomer! Thanks for joining up, owerfulalways! May you be powerful always and not "p" yourself. And Sideways, thanks for not making owerfulalways wait 10 years or longer! Don't "p" sideways. :-P

Would you say your collection is looking OP?

Hmm I suppose I should have dropped a line here the other day when I signed up. Better late than never.

I found this website about a year ago. I started a project to try and identify and catalog my collection. I'm using Discord to post up images and ive got links from the guide to click on to view additional info. Its a slow project but also a lot of fun. I only recently after moving realized there was a forum.

I used to frequent Transformers Forums a lot back in the 90's and early 2000's It started with TF Chat rooms and went from there. I ran my own TF website and Forum for many years called Legacy Of Cybertron. Though like many forums it is just a shell of what it once was.

I really miss talking to fellow collectors. So I am glad to have found this place, and happy to see a few people still popping on to post. Life is busy for everyone so something more slow and steady is great.

I have to make an effort to pop on here more often and at least try to reply to things. It's been kinda slow and other places have also gotten my attention.

Anyhow, welcome to TFL, hopefully you enjoy your stay. We're a good group of people. I've been a fan since Beast Wars came out, I missed out on G1 when it originally aired and didn't get a chance to get into it fully until they released the DVD sets a few years ago. Otherwise I enjoyed most of the newer series like the 2001 RiD and the Unicron Trilogy, and then TF Prime.
