He has a few dicast parts but not a lot. Seibertron.com has a gallery posted from someone who bought him in Singapore, I'll try to find you a link to the pics.
As for his numbers, I dunno about that. I do know Commander Megatron (Mark) has one on the way that his wife bought him for his b/day.
Also in the USA he will be modified to include an orange cap on the gun barrel due to federal law against the sale of toy guns (even though he ships in robot mode).

i did some ebay browsing the other day, there are a lot you can get from non-store distributors without the mod. they're also more expensive...
i haven't heard anything about a limited run. That would be REALLY lame. but unsuprising.

When you get yours in, can you do a write-up review? I'm particularly interested in a verification of the amount of metal the figure has...If it's anything like MP Prime, I'll get him right away (prices seem to be not too bad right now), if it's anything like MP Starscream...meh, I'll probably wait till someone offers him up!
More plastic than a hollywood housewife. It looks good in the box and with all the extras; Kremzeek,Mace,Sword and blaster. (The last 2 from his battle with optimus Prime in the movie) All very detailed and well done. As for Megatron himself....
The toy is bigger than the MP Prime, and about a third of the weight. The only metal parts are the soles of his feet and a bit around his waist. The Transform is a nightmare, the shoulders pop off continuously and its is quite complex to do so. The gun mode is fine, the only problem being that it is only the pistol, there is no stock to make it into the rifle. Maybe I am being a little fussy but I am trying to be fair and impartial.
The robot form is excellent, until you start to pose him. the fusion cannon is that heavy it weighs the arm down so it hangs buy his side. It also tends to make the body lean a little to the right. The blaster fits perfectly into his hand and his finger slips through the trigger hole perfectly. The mace fits perfectly onto his wrist, and the sword looks well in his hand.
To sum up I personally am a little disappointed with him. He could have been so much better. But £80.00 I feel was a little much for him. I feel a little cheated, but then I didn't buy it so it softens the blow a bit. Being a die hard Megatron fan (as you all know) I think maybe I expected a little to much. If you want my advice anyone thinking of getting one get a second hand one.
Or get someone else to buy you a new one.

It was kind of disappointing that there was so much plastic though, and the transformation is definately a nightmare. I'll give you that. But if OP didn't have a Prime, and I didn't know any better, I wouldn't care one bit. I'm just tickled to have a toy that actually LOOKS like Megatron.
