We're having a rough week for celebrity deaths this week, but I think this one will hit most of us harder than even Dolly Parton or Tim Curry. Even knowing his advanced age and poor health, this news hit me like a truck.
I extend my condolences to his family, and to all the millions who saw in this man the characteristics of his most famous role, a leader who was strong enough to be kind. We'll all miss you, Peter.

Peter Cullen has died at age 85. May he rest in peace.
